Test Mennella
Mennell's test - a test that is performed if Patricks test positive to determine whether the lesions are in the hip or in the hip joint.
During the test, the subject lies on his stomach. If left hip arthroplasty is being investigated, the left hand is rubbed with the patient's cross bone, and the right hand covers the straight and lying left leg and performs a hip in the hip. A positive test indicates pain in the area of the hip joint. Positive Patrick test results, with a negative Mennell test, show hip dysplasia, and positive symptoms in both tests - hip dysplasia.
