Epipotamal
Epipotamal is the upper course of a river - river waters usually flow on steep slopes often very quickly, gouging narrow valleys. The power of the flowing water is so great that it spills from the bottom and slopes of the river even large rock blocks. The upper course is characterized by a large drop, high water velocity and intense bottom erosion, thanks to which the trough is deeply cut into the ground. In some cases, an additional mountain course or spring course is formed where the river bed is formed.
