John Furey

John Furey (born April 13, 1951) is an American film and television actor, best known for his stage debut on Friday, September 13, 1981, in which he co-starred with Steve Miner. Furey has also appeared in numerous television projects ranging from soap operas such as All My Children by Cops and the Prosecutor or JAG - Military Investigative Bureau, to popular sitcoms such as Cheer. Husband of actress Denise Galik (since 1991).

In 2009, he starred in the documentary His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th, made on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the first film of the series Friday, the thirteenth. A similar role was repeated in the Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th (2013).
