AIRSCREEN car cinema in Brussels
Drive-in cinema - a place that connects the cinema to the car park, designed to watch movies directly from cars. This idea was patented by Richard Hollingshead in 1933.
The first screening of the car was on June 6, 1933 in Camden, New Jersey. This was a shortened version of Two White Arms (with the title changed to Wives Beware).
In Poland, the first car cinema was launched by Dariusz Krzysztof Zawiślak and Rafał Wnuk in 1994, located in Warsaw's Żerań housing estate. Hit the cinema became, among others. Movies: Premiere Preview of The Four Weddings and a Funeral That Opened The Motion Picture Show, The Flintstones with a performance featuring actors dressed up as movie characters and a special firework display, and Beverly Hills Cop III, which saw so many spectators waiting for cars to enter.
