Hypnotherium (Latin hypanthium) - an element of building some flowers. It is a flower bed of a specific structure - strongly recessed or have a narrow throat. As a result of this construction the posts are located within the flower bottom, are hidden and appear to be lower. That is, for example, in a rose. Sometimes, like in a foredeck, the flower bed rises in the upper part of the gilts, so that the neck of the pillar is inside it.
