In 1975 he completed his law studies at the Jagiellonian University. In the years 1976-1978 and again from 1980 to 1983 he was an employee of the Municipal Office in Będzin. In 1978 he completed his judicial training and, until 1979, served as assignee in the District Court in Dąbrowa Górnicza. In 1983 he completed his lawyer's apprenticeship, then began his apprenticeship in the profession. The most famous case involving him has been the ongoing trial of militias accused of assassinating miners in the mines of Wujek and the Manifesto of July, which serves as a proxy for miners' families.
Until 1992 he was a member of the Center Agreement, since the mid-1990s he was active in the Movement of Polish Reconstruction. In 2001 he was a non-party candidate for the Senate Block 2001 to the Senate. In 2005 and 2007, Sejm V and VI termed him as a member of the Court of Justice on the recommendation of Law and Justice.
In 2010 he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta. Bibliography
