Legality - the synonym of the rule of law (rule of law), the rule of law, according to which the authorities can act only on the basis and within the legal norms. The principle of legalism in Polish criminal proceedings, according to which a body charged with prosecuting crimes is obliged to initiate and prosecute any offense prosecuted ex officio (Article 10 of the CCP).

The legalistic attitude is an attitude towards the law characterized by the approval of the applicable legal order and the consequence of it in accordance with the applicable legal norms, or an attitude that seeks the legitimacy of the law.

Stanisław Kryński (born 20 June 1912 in Warsaw, died 30 January 1967) is a Polish-American philologist, literary critic and translator of English literature.
