Percutaneous coronary intervention
Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) - invasive coronary intervention techniques by means of percutaneous transluminal coronary artery bypass grafts (usually atherosclerotic plaque) for the purpose of extensor or revascularisation (revascularisation) and restoration circulation (reperfusion therapy). According to current guidelines, this is a method of treating patients with acute myocardial infarction.
These include: Brachytherapy (to reduce the risk of coronary restenosis).
