Adam Rams


Adam Rams (born November 22, 1956 in Knura) is a Polish self-government official. Curriculum vitae

He has a technical secondary education. Since 1975 he worked as a miner at Knurów Coal Mine. From 1995 to 2002 he was Vice-Chairman of the Solidarity Trade Union Committee.

In 1994 he obtained the mandate of councilor of the knursk city council. In 1998, from the list of Electoral Action, Solidarność became a member of the Silesian Parliament of the first term, in which he chaired the Commission for Public Security and Defense. On November 10, 2002, in the first direct election, he became president of Knurr. In the 2006, 2010 and 2014 municipal elections, he successfully applied for re-election, winning in the first round.
