Ignacy Siwicki


Ignacy Siwicki - troika guardian, Member of the Fourteenth Sejm of the Trotsky Province in 1790, consul general of the Trotsky Province in the Confederation of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Targowice Confederacy, educational commissioner.

He depicted the list of deputies and senators of the Russian ambassador Jakov Bulgakov in 1792, which included a list of people to whom the Russians could count on the reconstitution and overthrow of the May 3 work.

He was a member of the Education Commission of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania from the nomination of the Targowice Confederation in 1793. He proposed a ban on importing books and newspapers from abroad without censorship, under the penalty of 200 ducats and 12 suns. At the Hrodna parliamentary session, suspected by the Russian deputy Jakob Sievers, Grodno left for writing the patriotic speeches for the deputies. Bibliography
