Joseph-François Malgaigne
Joseph-François Malgaigne (born 14 February 1806, 17 October 1865) is a French physician surgeon.
Active participant in the November Uprising as a military surgeon. Master of the Virtuti Militari. In 1832 he issued memoirs describing the uprising. In 1845 he became a surgeon at St. Louis Hospital in Paris. Five years later he became a professor of surgical medicine and chief surgeon of the Charité hospital.
