Ewa flour
Ewa Mehl (born 1938 in Cracow, died in 1999 in Amsterdam) is a Polish artist, sculptor specializing in ceramics, stage designer, academic teacher.
The daughter of sculptor and illustrator Antoni Mehl (1905-1967) and painter Katarzyna Mehl (born 1907). Stanisław Pękalski graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław in 1963; 1963-1970 employee of this institution, co-founder of "Z Kuźnicza" group, active in 1966-1969, after moving to the Netherlands in 1970 worker (since 1973) of the Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam; Since 1975 it has had its own ceramics workshop, and since 1977 has been supported by state patronage for artists. In 1989, she founded the "Kasimir" foundation and publishing company. At the same time, she worked as a designer and costume designer at the de Culturele Organisatie van de Universiteit van Amsterdam (CREA Creative Center at the University of Amsterdam).
In the sculpture, the metaphorical expressive and metaphorical movement was used, using the innovative technique of combining iron shavings, resulting in the effect of colored efflorescences on the surface of the work. Bibliography
