Paso Peruano, Peruvian belt - a breed of horse originating in Peru. from horses imported from Europe in 1532 by Francis Pizarro. These horses were moving inroads, which were called paso. This walk has survived in Latin America.

The Paso-Peruvian has 3/4 the blood of a Berber horse and 1/4 of a Andalusian horse.
