(7551) Edstolper - an asteroid belonging to the outer core of the asteroid belt that circulates the Sun within 5 years and 277 days in the mean distance of 3.21 AU. She was discovered March 2, 1981 at the Siding Spring Observatory in Australia by Schelte Bus. The name of the asteroid originates from Edward M. Stolper (born 1952), professor of geology at the California Institute of Technology. Prior to naming, the asteroid had a temporary designation (7551) 1981 EF26. Bibliography
