Lundy

Lundy - a young horse breed originated on the island of Lundy as a crossbreed mare New Forest stallion. Connemara and Welsh Mountain Peak were the additional influence.

Lundy is a very resilient and inexpensive animal. This is a pony for children, with an attractive appearance, good fit, with a natural ability to jump. He has a head with a nicely embedded, muscular neck, a proportionate structure, well tied, a strong back and a correct stance. Typical for lundy are wide and deep chest, sloping shoulders and strong legs. The pony is mainly bushy, roan, bay, palomino or dirt-colored, and the height at the withers does not exceed 135 cm.
