Marcelo Figueras
Marcelo Figueras (born 1962 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentinian writer and film writer.
He is constantly working with director Marcelo Piñeyro. He wrote the screenplay for several films (including the crime thriller Spalona fora) of this filmmaker (but not limited to), and Kamczatka, based on a novel of the same title, was the Argentinian official for the Oscar. The book (and the movie) is set just after the military coup in 1976. Its narrator is a ten-year-old boy, whose politically-minded parents hide behind the regime's officers on an abandoned plot. In spite of this, they try to provide the boys with normal conditions of adolescence and finally give them to the grandparents. Harry and his brother will never see their parents again. Another Argentinian novel - The Spy of Time, a specific account of the South American dictatorship was published in Poland. Proza Authoritative control (person):
