Nonius is a horse with a fairly high neck. Horses in a heavy type often have a large head with a carbonaceous profile. We distinguish two types: lighter and heavier. The first, bony, are designed for business and teamwork, the second, the noblest, for riding. Horses of both types usually have a coat color or dark gray. White varieties are undesirable.
Height at withers: History, origin Nonius are named after their protoplast, Normandy stallion Nonius, raised in the Deux Ponts (Zweinbrucken), which was captured by the Hungarian cavalry in 1814. Noniusz was from the Norman mares after the half-blood of the English Orion. Associated with the Hungarian, Arabian, Lipic and Andalusian mare, he gave the strong, powerful horses, willing to work, suitable for different directions of use.
