Augustyn Dziedzic
Augustyn Dziedzic (born January 31, 1928 in Cięcin, died May 5, 2008 in Warsaw) - Polish barangay, Olympian and weightlifting coach. Curriculum vitae
He started as a player in 1950-1958. He was a two-time champion of Poland: in 1956 in lightweight (up to 67.5 kg) and in 1957 in featherweight (up to 60 kg). He won Poland's vice-championships five times: in 1951, 1952 and 1954, and in lightweight in 1955 and 1958. He was also the first Polish bodybuilding champion in 1958.
He reached the weight of 56 kg at the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki, where he finished seventh. He represented the club AZS Warsaw.
In 1953 he graduated from the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw and undertook research at the Department of Athletic Training. In 1965 he obtained his doctorate degree. At the same time he was involved in coaching. He was a trainer of AZS Warsaw, a collaborator and assistant coach of national team player Klemens Roguski and then coach of national team. Parents are among others. Waldemar Baszanowski, Zygmunt Smalcerz and Norbert Ozimek. After retiring, he coached the Turkish national team.
