Bożenna Sawicka

Bożenna Sawicka - conductor, choirmaster, graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw.

Studied at the Faculty of Music Education in 1975 in the conducting class of prof. Henryk Wojnarowski and the Faculty of Theory of Music, Composition and Conducting in 1979. In 1992 she graduated from the Postgraduate Studies of the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz.

Since 2006 he has been an ordinary professor at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. Since 1987 he has been associated with the Choir of the Medical Academy in Bialystok and since 1991 conductor of this choir.

In the years 2003-2006 she was an expert of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport on the teacher promotion board.

In June 2006, she received the honorable "Merit for Polish Culture" badge. In 2007 she was awarded the Silver Medal of "Merit of Gloria Artis".

He is a Dean of the Faculty of Instrumental and Pedagogical Studies in Bialystok at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
