Edward J. Ruppelt

Edward J. Ruppelt (born July 17, 1923 in Iowa, USA, September 1960) is an American military officer, head of the Trauma Project and Blueprint Project. He died suddenly of a heart attack at age 37.

Career

He took active part in the Second World War as a bomber crew. As one of the first soldiers to be trained in radar service. He was awarded many medals. After the war he went to reserve, where he graduated in 1951 in aeronautical engineering. Re-established during the war with North Korea. Moved to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
