Maria Deymer


Maria Deymer, sister of Dolores (born May 15, 1916 in Constantinople, died August 1, 1944 in Warsaw) - Polish nun, soldier of the Home Army.

Born in Constantinople, she was the daughter of Turf Sofila Machmet Deymer. She was a nun from the Congregation of the Sisters of the Ursuline Heart of Jesus Dying from a house in Warsaw at 1 Gęsta Street.

In the Warsaw Uprising, a paramedic in a sanitary patrol of the WSK of the AK District of Śródmieście. She fell on the street Gęsta on the way to the wounded, along with the nurses: Zofia Bagińska, Wanda Chodkowska and Jadwiga Frankowska. Posthumously awarded the Cross of Valor. Bibliography
