Prodromal symptoms

Prostromal Symptoms, Prodromes, Signs - An early, non-specific symptom (or set of symptoms) that indicates the onset of the disease before the onset of symptoms specific to the disease. For example, fever, malaise, headaches and lack of willingness to eat are part of prodrome for mumps or other infectious diseases. Prodrom may be a precursor of early neurological disorders such as migraine or epilepsy where prodromal symptoms include glaucoma, confusion, aphasia or photophobia.
