Spekk is a Japanese music label founded in Tokyo in January 2004 by Nao Sugimoto (Mondi). Spekk's activities are centered around various varieties of minimalism, starting with experimental electronics and electro-acoustics, and ending with environmental recording. Spekk plates are made in specially prepared paper packages (size 12.5 cm by 16 cm), shaped like a book. In 2014, the packaging was changed (17 x 14.5 cm, another pocket for the disc).
