Flag of Chrzanów
The current flag of Chrzanów The Chrzanow flag from 1964-2009
The Chrzanów Flag was established at the meeting of the Municipal Committee of the Front of National Unity on May 21, 1964. It was in the form of two horizontal stripes, the top of which was blue and the bottom red. In 2009, a new flag of the city depicting the Chrzanów coat of arms in a wide white field, with blue narrower, vertical stripes on both sides, was introduced. This flag, as opposed to the previous one, is in frequent use. You can see it at the City Hall building on Henry Avenue and on the Millennium Square, as well as at other points of Chrzanów, where it is hung on public holidays.
