Torodrom
Torodroma (railway track), droma road, highway) is a route of an airplane, which runs along the railroad tracks. The term joke-jargon.
At the beginning of the aviation, the flight along the tracks (or rivers) was a frequently used method of navigation by beginner pilots or in low visibility conditions. The method is to fly along the railway lines, with position control based on the readable train station names.
The navigators in this way were also told that they "fly with the track under their arm". Bibliography
