Yamaha Pacifica 1511MS
Yamaha Pacifica 1511MS, a Pacifica electric guitar branded with Mike Stern's fusion guitarist.
This guitar was created on the basis of a soldier's design, played by Mike Stern. This is a modified copy of Fender Telecaster. The prototype is different in shape of head and body, as well as electronics. The guitar has a solid-body body, made of ash. With four screws, a maple neck was attached to it. On a maple fretboard with a radius of 184 mm, 22 thresholds were acquired. A fixed bridge, like the one that is mounted in Telecasters. The two transducers are Seymour Duncan two-coils: the '59 humbucker and the Hot Rails. Their work is managed by a 3-position switch, as well as two potentiometers: volume and color. Yamaha Pacifica 1511MS is manufactured to a very high standard and its availability on the Polish market is very good, but it is limited to online stores. The price of this instrument in Poland is about 3800 PLN.
