Hans Rambow

Hans Rambow, Jan Rambow (born 1564, died 1613) was a butler of the Szczecin duke from the Gryffindor dynasty and his natural daughter's husband. Perhaps the son of a valet, Hans Rambow, died in 1598.

He came from an old Pomeranian family already known since the 15th century, who in 1523 owned a fief in Moskovsky near Dolice. Before 1600 he married a daughter of Prince Jan Fryderyk and an unknown woman from a non-marriage relationship. In 1605 he was present as a court officer (junker) among Pomeranian noblemen during the latter's tribute to Bogusław XIII, the then Prince of Szczecin. Bibliography
