Lipidogram

Lipidogram - a study that provides information on the concentration of individual lipid fractions in venous plasma and total cholesterol, HDL and LDL levels, and triglyceride levels. The study is performed on fasting (at least eight hours of eating time). It is also advisable to use a low fat diet a few days before the test. Scope of standards LDL: <115 mg/dl (<3,0 mmol/l) TG: <150 mg/dl (<1,7 mmol/l)

Exceeding these values means an increased risk of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease (the norms in diabetes are more stringent).
