• The Society of the Laity School (TSŚ) - a social organization was established in 1957 in Warsaw.

The main aim of the association was to promote the principles of secular education (universities for parents, discussion clubs, clinics, reading and publishing). The statutory task of the organization was to disseminate in the society the assumptions of socialist pedagogy, especially in the field of upbringing and shaping the attitudes of the youth. The Society worked mainly with parents and teachers.

The CEP pursued its objectives through the regional, district and wheel administration. The association was a mass organization, according to official figures in 1967, with over 300,000 members and 14,000 members. The press body of the organization was the Education Month.

On the occasion of the jubilee of the 10th anniversary in 1967, the Main Board of the School of the laity granted gold badges to the ESC.

In 1969, together with the Association of Atheists and Free Thinkers, the Society for the Promotion of the Secular Culture was established.
