Frontal capsulotomy - ablation procedure for psychiatric disorders (including depression syndrome, obsessive-compulsive disorder of chronic anxiety disorder). The technique is to break the front-hinged joints in the front leg of the inner bag. The coordinates of the targeted ablation are determined by the MRI: it is 1/3 of the front of the inner bag, 5 mm behind the top of the corner, 20 mm laterally of the midline, in the interplanar plane.
