Henry Grunwald
Henry Grunwald, owner. Heinz Grünwald (born December 3, 1922 in Vienna, February 26, 2005 in New York) was a journalist of Austrian origin, a diplomat.
He was the son of Alfred Grünwald, a librarian who cooperated, among others. with Lehár and Kálmán. In 1938 after the Anschluss of Austria, the Grunwald family left Vienna and initially went to Paris in France, and in 1940 to the United States. Henry Grunwald studied in New York, then began working in the magazine "Time" with whom he was associated until his retirement (1987). In 1988, US President Ronald Reagan appointed him Ambassador to the United States in Austria, a function he held until 1990.
