IS-95C
IS-95C (Interim Standard - 95C) - A radio network standard used in mobile telephony published by the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA). Based on this standard, CDMA2000 1x networks are being built, which are part of the CDMA2000 family of standards announced by the International Telecommunication Union (IMC) as one of the 3G systems.
The IS-95C supports CDMA packet data transmission at a rate of 144 kb / s, which makes it a 2.5G system, but is compatible with IS-95A and IS-95B systems, based on which cdmaOne networks are built. Being second generation systems makes it easier to migrate between some 2G and 3G systems.
