Kypros II

Kypros II (born 29 BC) is a Judean princess, daughter of Herod the Great.

She was the youngest child of Herod the Great and Mariamme I. She was born shortly before the execution of her mother.

About 17/16 p.n.e. Herod the Great offered Kypros II's hand to his brother Feroras. He refused because he wanted to marry his lover, a former slave. In this situation, Kypros II was married to his cousin Antypatra III, son of Salome I and nephew of Herod the Great.

Kypros II and Antipater III had daughter Kypros IV, wife of Alexander III Helkas. Bibliography
