The Adventures


The Adventures - a British pop group set up in 1984 in Belfast.

The band was based on Starjets, starring Terry Sharpe and Pat Gribben. Eileen Gribben (wife of Pata), Gerard "Spud" Murphy, Tony Ayre and Pat Crowder joined the list.

In the beginning, the band signed with Chrysalis Records for which they released their debut album, Theodore and Friends, in 1985, which was released as the adventures of The Adventures.

The second album, The Sea of ​​Love, was released in 1988 by Elektra Records. It contained the biggest hit of the group, "Broken Land", which reached the top twenty of the UK charts. The second single from the album "Drowning in the Sea of ​​Love" did not repeat that success.

In 1989 and 1993, he released the following albums: Trading Secrets with the Moon and Lions and Tigers and Bears, but with no success.
