Yoneji Miyagawa


Yoneji Miyagawa (Japanese: 宮 川 米 次, Miyagawa Yoneji, also Miyakawa, born January 4, 1885 in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture, died 1959) is a Japanese parasitologist. Miyagawa completed his medical studies at Tokyo Imperial University in 1917 and for four years was an assistant in a hospital clinic. He then moved to the Government Institute for Infectious Diseases. In 1921 he became the director of the hospital's Institute, and in 1927 he became the professor of the same university. In 1934 he became director of the Institute of Infectious Diseases. Bibliography
