Adźita Keśakambali
Adjutsu Kashakambali (Sanskrit tr. Ajita Keśakambali, pāli Ajita Kesakambala), living in the 6th century BC. an Indian philosopher, considered one of the earliest known proponents of Indian materialism. He was one of the six opponents of the teachings of Sakyamuni Buddha. Like the texts of the lokajata, his teachings did not survive, except for the scattered sources written by his opponents in order to overthrow them. The members of the Ashtanga-Kashmiran tradition are termed keastambalin.
