Chaim Icel Goldstein

Chaim Icel Goldstein, Charles Goldstein (born 1900 in Warsaw, died?) - Polish Jew, leftist worker and activist, emigrated to Paris, where he was arrested and taken to Auschwitz-Birkenau.

In October 1943 he was transferred to Warsaw, where he worked in the ruins of the ghetto. Liberated after the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising, he took part in it. He then hid with six people, including a Catholic priest, in a bunker in the deserted Warsaw, as did Władysław Szpilman. His memoirs appeared in Yiddish, Polish, French, English, Hebrew.
