Eleonora (Belgian princess)
Eleonora, princess of Belgium, fr. Eléonore Fabiola Victoria Anne Marie (born April 16, 2008 in Anderlecht) - fourth child and second daughter of Belgian king Philip and his wife Princess Matilda.
The princess was born a few minutes before 5 am in the Erasmus hospital in Brussels on Wednesday, April 16, 2008. The princess has one sister, Elisabeth, seven years older and two brothers: Gabriel and Emanuel, 5 and 3 years older respectively. The princess is already the twelfth grandson of King Albert II and queen Paola, and the sixth female.
Like her siblings she was baptized in the chapel of Ciergnon Castle in Houyet, in the Belgian Ardennes, by Godfried Danneels, Archbishop of Mechelen-Brussels. Her godmother was Princess Victoria of Sweden, Princess Claire of Belgium and Count Sébastien von Westphalen zu Fürstenberg. It is fourth in the queue to the throne of Belgium, just behind brother Emanuel, and before Aunt Astrid.
