Ray Lavender is an American R & B singer, better known as Ray L. Ray, created entirely by Akon singer Kon Live. His first X-Rayted album was released in 2008.

Ray Lavender changed his pseudonyms many times in a short time. First name was Earl Ray, later L.A Ray, Ray Black and now Ray-L. He became famous for his song "Doing, Doing," which he performed with Akon. Other works include: "Hush", "Chekin 'My Phone" and "Deez Nutz". He wrote a song for his girlfriend, Chilli, to appear on the album No Rings On These Fingers, but Chilli never recorded it.
