Chris - an uninhabited Greek island. Its length is 5 km, while the width is 1 km and the total area is 5 km². The island lies about 15 km from the coast of Crete south of the city of Jerapetra. The island can be reached by motorboats departing the city several times a day and a passenger boat from the port, the journey takes about one hour. Today the island is uninhabited and you can not spend the night under the roof due to the lack of a hotel. The only buildings are two taverns that are open during the day. The island has the only cedar forest in Europe. The beach is also called Golden Beach because of the yellow sand.

Located in the decentralized administration of Crete, in the Crete region, in the regional unit of Lasithi, in the municipality of Jerapetra.
