Circular pancreas (annular pancreas) - Anatomical pancreatic anomaly consisting of the presence of a pancreatic tissue band covering the descending part of the duodenum. The cause of this is the abnormal rotation of the abdominal pancreas. May occur clinically in neonatal period or later.
