AB Landsverk

AB Landsverk - a Swedish company founded in 1872 as Firman Petterson & Ohlsen. The factory in Landskron produced railway wagons, harbor cranes and agricultural equipment.

In the late 1920s, when the company was on the verge of bankruptcy, it was financed (with the help of a Dutch broker) by the German company Gutehoffnungshütte Aktienverein für Bergbau und Hüttenbereich Oberhausen (GHH), which also took over 50% of AB Landsverk. During World War II the company designed and partially produced most tanks for the Swedish army.
