Aleksander Andrzej Dąbrowski was born on October 29, 1870 in Suwalki. He was educated at a classical gymnasium, and from 9 October 1888 at the Marjorum Junk School he graduated in 1892. He served in the military service of the Russian Empire Army. In 1907 he graduated from the Academy of Intendentures in St. Petersburg. From January to May 1918 he served in the First Corps.
The service in the Polish Army began in the Department of Economy of the Ministry of Military Affairs. From June 4, 1920 to July 1, 1921, he was the deputy head of the deputy head of the General District of Lviv and was responsible for the head of the branch office.
