Anneliese Kohlmann
Anneliese Kohlmann (born 23 March 1921 in Hamburg, 17 September 1977) is a German Nazi SS-Aufseherin in the Nazi Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp and a war criminal. Curriculum vitae
She was from a bricklayer's family and a housewife, not a college graduate. In 1940 she joined the NSDAP. At the beginning of November 1944, she was employed as a trafficker in Hamburg, where she was assigned as an auxiliary SS officer in the Hamburg-Neugraben sub-camp. In March 1945 she was transferred to the Tiefstack near Hamburg. As she maintained, Tiefstack left without a permit and went to Bergen-Belsen, where she spent 8-15 April 1945 hiding in a crowd in the prison. She was arrested on 17 April 1945 by the British army after the prisoners of Neugraben and Tiefstack recognized her. She was imprisoned in Celle prison. Bergen-Belsen was sentenced to two years of imprisonment, one year in prison for temporary detention. The rest of the penalty was held in the Fühlsbüttel prison. Bibliography
