Backstage (drama)
"Behind the Scenes" - a play by Cyprian Kamil Norwid written around 1865-1866.
Drama is twofold: it shares the tragedy of Tyrt and Behind the Scenes. These two themes are intertwined: the scenes from Tyrtey's theater combine with scenes that take place outside the scenes.
In the piece there is Dedication, which Norwid dedicates to "the youth of my capital" (Warsaw).
Many pieces of the work are an allusion to Warsaw after the fall of the January Uprising.
