Starjet - a commercial name for the new Fiat Group petrol engine.

These engines are the new Fiat powertrains. Compliant with EURO 4 standards. The first engine of its kind was a 95 hp 1.4 16V Starjet engine. It was used in the Fiat Punto in 2004.

Starjet technology combines three advanced technologies simultaneously: Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) - exhaust gas recirculation system VVT (Variable Valve Timing) technology - variable valve timing
