Hermenegilda


Hermenegilda - a feminine name of Germanic origin. In Old German it meant "full sacrifice": ermen - 'full,' and the guild - 'sacrifice'. In Poland, Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński created the character of Hermogenes Kociubińska, the character in "Zielona Gęś Teatime", and the book and TV series titled " Four armored dogs and a dog in which the name appears as a codename for the German landing operation (Hermenegilde komm!).

Hermenegilda celebrates the name day of April 13.
