Recovery
Thomas von Fritsch
After the destruction of the Saxon Elections by the Seven Years (1756-1763), the ministers Thomas von Fritsch, Christian Gotthelf Gutschmidt and Friedrich Ludwig Wurmb (1723-1800) rebuilt the country and reformed its structure in the spirit of the Enlightenment. The period of this reconstruction is referred to in the German historiography as Rétablissement, as it was called in the 18th century.
Restoration commission called Restaurierungskommission operated from 30 April 1762 to 5 August 1763, issued a total of 34 decrees. Literature
