Artur Hofman
Artur Hofman (born 1959 in Wałbrzych) - Polish actor, director and journalist, Jewish community activist in Poland, since 2006 chairman of the Jewish Social and Cultural Association in Poland, 2009 editor of the Jewish Word. Curriculum vitae
In 1982 he passed an extermination exam for the actors of the drama in Warsaw. In 1992 he graduated from the Department of Directing at the State Higher School of Theater in Warsaw. In 1977-1982 he was an adept, and in 1982-1991 he was an actor of the Jewish Theater in Warsaw. In 1993-1998 he worked as a director of the Operetta and Operetta in Szczecin. Since 2003 he has been a director at the Jewish Theater. In 2002 he directed and wrote the screenplay for the Flying Ambulance.
He was the Vice-President of the Warsaw Jewish Social and Cultural Society. In 2006 he was elected chairman of the TSKŻ. Since autumn 2009 he has been the editor of the Jewish Word. He is a founding member of B'nai B'rith Polska, reactivated in 2007. Filmography Bibliography
