Ludwik Rakowski


Ludwik Jerzy Rakowski (born October 2, 1975 in Warsaw) is a Polish politician, self-governmental politician, deputy speaker of the Mazowieckie Voivodship, 2007-2010. Curriculum vitae

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw.

From 1998 to 2002 he was a councilor of the Warsaw district selected from the AWS list (as a member of SKL). Later he served as deputy mayor of Wilanów. In the municipal elections in 2006, the Civic Platform received the mandate of the councilor of the Mazowieckie Voivodship and he was also the mayor of the district. In the local elections in 2010 he was re-elected to the regional council of Mazowieckie Province.

In December 2007, he was appointed Deputy Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship after the resignation of Tomasz Siemoniak, appointed deputy minister at the Ministry of Interior and Administration. He served this term until 2010, when he became the chairman of the Sejmiku of the Mazowieckie 4th term. In the same year he was re-elected mayor of Wilanów. In 2014, he retained the mandate of a councilor and again became chairman of the council. Bibliography
